It's been so dry here this month. My rain barrel has long been emptied, the grass crunches beneath my feet when I'm out in the yard, and the birds nearly deplete the birdbath by noon every day. The sky opened up a few times this last week, and there's rain on the horizon on Thursday and Saturday, but we need a downpour or two to revive the landscape.
There's no shortage of book news though! My newest release LOVE, LIES and LITERATURE is on sale until this Friday for $0.99 until it increases to $3.99 like the rest of the books in the series. So if you haven't picked up this second-chance, opposites attract story about Cora and Evan, now is the time!
Also, I've hinted that the Blueberry Point series would join the Hearts in Hendricks series on all platforms sometime this year. Amazon is making it more difficult for authors to be exclusive only to them. So in mid July, I'll be adding the BPL series e-books to Barnes & Noble, Apple, Kobo, Google Play and others. This means the books will no longer be available in Kindle Unlimited. Buuuuttt, if you download them between now and mid July in Kindle Unlimited, they'll forever remain on your device until you read and/or delete them. I just wanted to give you all a heads up if you've been putting off reading some of those titles. They are all listed at the bottom of this e-mail.

WHAT AM I READING? I'm in the middle of a book called The Last Suppers by Mandy Mikulencak right now which the publisher calls a combination of The Help and Dead Man Walking (I've seen both movies and read The Help). I had to put this book down when I started it last month because it just wasn't grabbing me. Now I can't stop reading it.
