I intended to write this letter last night but then my daughter texted me, saying the cobbler she'd made from the just-picked cherries on their tree would be ready in 45 minutes. Ten minutes later I was out the door. Fresh cherry cobbler and a visit with the grand girls will get me every time.
I'm taking part in a special event until the end of the month called Sweet Romance for a Sweet Cause. The participating authors have agreed to donate all their profits from their chosen book to a non-profit near and dear to their hearts. Mine is the Home Sweet Home Ministries in Bloomington, IL. My husband and I have supported them for years because they do wonderful things for those in need in central Illinois. I realize most of you might already have my Love, Lies and Lavender book, but there are many more wonderful titles to choose from here.
