Today we got back from a wonderful week in northern Minnesota, in the lakeshore town that inspired my two series. Our daughter and her family joined us; they camped with the grand girls within sight of the cabin my husband and I rented. The cabin came in handy for cooking, baking, and getting clean (oh, how we take a good shower for granted sometimes!). We hiked, skipped rocks, and popped in at the farmer's market and an art fair too. I'll be sharing photos in the coming weeks as soon as I sort through them. It's always good to come home though, isn't it?

I've stopped offering LOVE, LIES and FIREFLIES to new subscribers now that I've included the novella in the Blueberry Point Romance Collection and it will be in Kindle Unlimited any day now. That means I've had to pull together something new to offer, which is why I've written the prequel scenes for LOVE LIKE WATER (Book #1 in the Hearts in Hendricks series).
Since Darcy and Sean Stetman have appeared in every one of my books so far with the exception of the Silver Leaf Falls novella, I decided to go back in time to offer a little insight on life before they met. Here's the link for the scenes. I hope you enjoy them.

So, the Small Town Romance Summer Reading Road Trip started yesterday on Instagram.
