My husband has been flooding my inbox lately with links to travel trailers. Off-road, dual suspension, pressurized metal-free frames. Opus, Black Series, Air Stream, and R-Pods. Frankly, I'm not as engaged as I should be in the process. Maybe it's the prices (which have skyrocketed over the past two years like almost everything else). Or I'm wondering where we'll park this thing when we're at home. I think it comes down to aesthetics though. My hubby laughs and rolls his eyes because I always choose my cars based on color first with everything else coming in second. Am I wrong that I just want something cute (and preferably red) with an outlet to keep my laptop charged and some string lights hanging overhead?
Do you have trailer or pop-up camper recommendations and any words of wisdom on shopping for one? I'd love to hear them!
We're heading to Texas this week for our youngest son's birthday. I think we've timed our trip south better this time for when the blue bonnets bloom. I've always wanted to see them! Also, the pup will experience his first long road trip. This past weekend we took him to meet my mother-in-law and he did fabulous in the back seat for the two-hour drive. I'm hoping he'll enjoy the adventure!
In book news, I'm working on the PROMISE ME OCTOBER novella coming out in the Blueberry Point Romance collection at the end of May. The female main character is a wedding photographer, so interviewing a real-life wedding photographer is on my agenda this week before we leave town.

Here's the April Clean My Shelves Giveaway!
Here's the selection of paperbacks for this month's Clean My Shelves Giveaway. If you're new to my newsletter, I am slowing emptying my shelves of books that I've read or haven't read (and won't any time soon), so some of you will be the recipients of my shelf-cleaning projects!
I've read Where'd You Go, Bernadette, A Cure for Dreams, and How to Make an American Quilt and can recommend all, but I haven't read the others. I’ll pick TWO lucky winners from those who send me their choice by replying to this e-mail. Please take note: all of these are lovingly USED books. Sorry, non-US friends, I can only ship within the US. If by chance I choose someone outside the country, I’ll offer a $5 Amazon gift card instead.
The contest closes on Sunday night 4/10/22, at 7 p.m. CST. Winners will be notified via e-mail and have 48 hours to respond before another winner is chosen. Winners will also be announced in the next newsletter.

Also, here is a small but sweet collection of Christian best friends-to-more romances are in this selection of books below (click on the graphic to go to the page). LOVE, LIES and LULLABIES is featured since Wynne and Chase were besties in high school until someone came between them. Their class reunion brings them back together and the long-overdue sparks fly.
Happy Reading!
