We can’t keep living like this.

A selfish generation will never achieve true greatness.

Hey ,

I’ve been thinking about something heavy lately…

And I couldn’t shake it, so I decided to write to you about it.

I don’t know when exactly it happened, but somewhere along the way, we became a generation that stopped caring.

We became obsessed with self, our goals, our comfort, our brand, our grind.

And slowly, we stopped valuing the little things that make life truly meaningful.

We don’t say thank you anymore.

We rarely show appreciation.

We brush past people without care, as long as we’re fine.

We think greatness is only about what we build, not how we treat people while building it. We’ve lost our values and it’s showing.

Listen,

You can be gifted and still be rude.

You can be intelligent and still lack empathy.

You can be successful and still be proud and insensitive.

But that’s not greatness.

That’s just noise dressed in talent.

Until we start doing good intentionally and consistently

we will keep chasing shadows and calling it progress.

That driver? Say thank you.

That house help or staff? Show them kindness.

That person who works for you, with you, around you, they deserve appreciation.

Nobody owes you support, service, or silence.

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but:

📌 Kindness is not weakness.

📌 Appreciation is not too much.

📌 Doing good is not extra, it should be the baseline.

We can’t continue this way, we must do better.

And I hope this weekend, you’ll pause to check in with yourself and ask:

“Am I just successful… or am I actually kind?”

Let’s be the generation that not only builds things but builds people along the way.

With sincerity,

Darasimi
