Hey ,
One of the hardest things in life is knowing when it’s time to move on.
Move on from a job.
Move on from a relationship.
Move on from an environment.
Move on from a phase of life.
Sometimes the problem is not that something is bad.
The problem is that it has simply run its course.
Many people stay in places long after they should have left. Not because they are blind, but because leaving is uncomfortable.
We stay because of familiarity.
We stay because of loyalty.
We stay because we have invested time.
We stay because we are afraid of starting again.
But growth has seasons.
And sometimes the very place that once helped you grow can become the place that begins to limit you.
So how do you know it might be time to move on?
One sign is when you stop growing.
You are no longer learning.
You are no longer being stretched.
You are simply repeating the same cycle over and over again.
Another sign is when peace consistently disappears.
Every environment has pressure, but there is a difference between healthy pressure and constant internal resistance.
If something keeps draining you emotionally, mentally, and spiritually, it may be worth asking why.
Another sign is when you already know the truth but keep postponing the decision.
Many people already know when something is no longer right for them. The difficulty is not clarity.
The difficulty is courage.
Moving on does not always mean something failed.
Sometimes it simply means the season is complete.
And maturity is knowing how to appreciate what something gave you, while still being honest enough to admit when it is time to take the next step.
Life requires movement.
Holding on too tightly to what was right yesterday can prevent you from stepping into what is right for today.
So if you are in a place where you feel stuck, it might be worth asking yourself a simple question:
Am I staying because this is still right for me, or because leaving feels difficult?
The answer to that question will often tell you what you need to do next.
Your Fave,
