The Hardest Person to Forgive? Yourself.

Hey ,

In my last email, we talked about the difference between a mistake and a bad decision. And let’s be real—we’ve all made bad decisions.

But here’s something we don’t talk about enough…

We know how to forgive others. But do we know how to forgive ourselves?

For the longest time, I didn’t.

I made a bad decision years ago. A really bad one.

I regretted it. I replayed it over and over in my mind, wishing I could undo it.

But instead of forgiving myself, I let the guilt consume me.

And you know what happened?

That one bad decision led me to a series of other bad choices.

Because when you don’t forgive yourself, you start to believe you don’t deserve better.

It took me years, but last year, I finally let it go.

And the moment I did, everything started to change.

Here’s the truth:

👉 Your past will only hinder your future to the degree you refuse to forgive yourself.

You can’t go back and change it. But you can learn from it.

You can make the necessary corrections.

You can move on.

So today, I’m asking you…

What’s that one thing you’ve been punishing yourself for?

The bad decision you wish you could erase?

Maybe it’s time to let it go.

Forgive yourself. Learn. Grow. Move forward.

You deserve that freedom.

Hit reply and let me know—have you ever struggled with self-forgiveness?

Let’s talk.

Talk soon,

Darasimi.
