You Must Be Angry Enough to Change

Growth requires gratitude, but it also requires a healthy level of dissatisfaction.

Hi ,

There is something uncomfortable I have learned about change.

For your life to truly move, you have to be willing to feel a certain kind of anger about where you are.

Not bitterness.

Not entitlement.

And definitely not ingratitude.

I am talking about a deep, honest dissatisfaction that says, “This is not the best I can do.”

For example, many people know they are underpaid.

They know they are overworked.

They know they are capable of more.

But they are not uncomfortable enough to do anything about it.

I am not saying you should resign tomorrow.

I am saying you need enough emotional energy to start preparing for something better.

Update the CV.

Learn the skill.

Apply quietly.

Build the side project.

Have the conversation.

Change rarely happens when you are fully comfortable.

If you study history, most meaningful solutions were born out of dissatisfaction. Someone looked at a broken system and said, “This can be better.” That belief created innovation. That belief built companies. That belief changed industries.

Progress begins with the awareness that better is possible.

And if you want consistent growth, you must train yourself to think that way.

Gratitude keeps you grounded.

Dissatisfaction keeps you moving.

Both are necessary.

So ask yourself honestly:

Where have you become too comfortable?

Where do you know you could do better?

Where are you tolerating what you should be improving?

Your life will not change because you wish it would.

It will change when your desire for better becomes stronger than your tolerance for average.

Your Fave,

Darasimi.
