Hey ,
One of the greatest ways you can help yourself is to be self-aware.
And let me be honest, as someone who tries to practice self-awareness daily, it’s not always easy. In fact, it can sometimes be frustrating.
But I’ve also learned that it’s one of the most helpful tools you’ll ever have.
Here’s the thing:
You can’t change what you’re not willing to acknowledge.
So let me ask you…
👉🏾 How well do you really know yourself?
👉🏾 How aware are you of your strengths and your weaknesses?
👉🏾 How brutally honest are you willing to be with yourself?
Because here’s the truth:
It doesn’t matter if you have the greatest speaker, the wisest mentor, or the best counselor talking to you. If you aren’t honest with yourself, you’ll make very limited progress.
We all have blind spots. We all have flaws. But some of us pretend they don’t exist and that’s why we stay stuck.
Do you eat too much?
Do you sleep too much?
Are you truly making progress or just being busy?
Are you a good friend, or are you self-centered?
Are you bad at communicating, but always shifting the blame?
These are tough questions. But they’re the questions that move us forward.
Be real with yourself. The world won’t always be.
And here’s the good news: when you finally stop lying to yourself, progress becomes possible. Self-awareness is not the end, it’s the beginning. It’s the mirror that shows you what to fix, and where to grow.
So here’s your challenge for this week:
Take one area of your life and be brutally honest about it.
Not what you tell people. Not what you post online. Just the truth.
Write it down.
Then ask: what’s one small step I can take to change this?
Hit reply and share one area you’re choosing to be more self-aware about. I’d love to hear from you.
