Ride London 100 done, what a day...

Hey

I just had an incredible ride that I can't wait to tell you about.

Waking up at the crack of dawn to the sound of pouring rain, I was seriously questioning my life choices.

Like, who in their right mind willingly signs up for this kind of torture? But I couldn't flake on my squad, you know? We were all in this together, come rain or shine (or, well, mostly rain).

So I begrudgingly suited up and cycled my way to the starting line, already drenched to the bone before we even kicked things off. I'll admit, I was tempted to just turn back and head home to my cosy bed a few times. But where's the fun in that, am I right?

Once we got rolling and made our way out of the city, though, I started to find my groove. The rain let up a bit, and we formed these little packs of cyclists all working together.

I managed to latch onto a solid group with some of my mates and a few other savvy riders who knew better than to go all out in those slippery conditions.

We cruised along at a decent clip, making a quick pit stop around the halfway point to refuel and regroup.

That meant leaving our original pack behind, but we managed to link up with another strong crew and kept the momentum going. I stuck with that group until about mile 65, when a little mechanical hiccup forced me to drop back. But you know I wasn't about to let that stop me! I dug deep, kept my pace up, and eventually caught up with a few other stragglers towards the end.

Finally, after 4 hours and 38 minutes of battling the elements (not too shabby, considering the wet conditions), I crossed that finish line feeling like a million bucks.

Sure, I may have been a bit slower than my previous times, but in that moment, I knew I'd accomplished something way bigger than just finishing a bike ride.

You see, my friends, this ride taught me a valuable lesson: sometimes, you've got to step outside your comfort zone and face your fears head-on.

It's the only way to truly grow and become a better version of yourself.

And let me tell you, pushing through that rain and those doubts made me a stronger, more confident cyclist – and person – than I was before.

So if you're feeling stuck in a rut, or if there's something holding you back from reaching your full potential, I challenge you to take a page out of my book.

Book a coffee chat with me, and let's talk about how our coaching programs can help you break through those barriers and unlock a whole new level of personal growth and achievement.

Because at the end of the day, the only thing standing between you and your goals is you.

Neil
