Why Starting Small Might Be Your Smartest Move

Dec 23, 2025 11:38 am

Yesterday, I had one of those conversations that really stuck with me.

Someone who had been recommended by a previous client reached out on Instagram about coaching.

They're training for the Étape in France and wanted to understand the difference between my 1-on-1 coaching and the Cycle Lean Project.

So I sent over the details.

And then something interesting happened.

They came back and said the Cycle Lean Project made more sense as a starting point.

Essentially, they were saying, "I want to work with you, but I want to start on my own terms."

And honestly?

That's exactly the right instinct.

Not everyone needs to jump straight into 1-on-1 coaching. I know that might sound strange coming from me, but it's true.

Sometimes the smartest move is to start with a lower-pressure entry point.

Build confidence. Learn the system. Understand how I work. And then decide what's next.

That's what the Cycle Lean Project is designed for.

It provides a clear framework for you.

You'll get accountability, guidance, and access to me, without the full commitment of 1-on-1 coaching.

You're not locked into a monthly commitment.

You're not making a monthly financial commitment.

It's just 8 weeks to train with purpose, learn the process, and see how it feels to work within a system that actually works.

And here's what happens for most people?

They love it.

They see results.

They build momentum.

And then, if they want to, they can move into 1-on-1 coaching later in the year to chase bigger goals like the Étape.

But some people find that the group program is exactly what they needed all along.

The point is, you get to figure it out without the pressure.

If you're on the fence about 1-on-1 coaching and want an easier way to get started, the Cycle Lean Project begins on January 5th.

We've only 20 spaces available, and 5 have already been taken.

The price also increases from £150 to £200 on January 2nd.

Most people see impressive results, like losing several kilos and boosting their cycling performance in just 8 weeks.

That kind of progress can really build momentum heading into the new year.

Merry Xmas
