Hi
Wow can you believe this year is almost over? Yes I can hear the collective sigh of relief from here.
It's only a few more weeks until the big hairy guy lumbers down your chimney to leave gifts under your tree...if you celebrate that holiday of course...
Here in Australia growing up, everyone celebrated Christmas. It was truly a revelation to one day discover that not everybody did in other western countries. What? No Christmas?? I guess it's how kids in the US feel when they discover that not everyone celebrates Halloween...or Thanksgiving...
The weather is warming up here (although in some states it is a bit TOO warm right now!) and the days are getting much longer. I love the long, long days of summer, not so much the short days of winter that those of you in the northern hemisphere are experiencing right now.
I'm a huge fan of the health benefits of (wise) sun exposure. Sunshine does wonders for your not only for your health but it can even improve your mood.
Did you know that lack of sunshine is linked to depression? (and numerous health issues?) Now there are many reasons for depression, but one easy way to feel better is to go outside in the sunshine. If you can sit, or wander through nature it is even better.
Even when I lived in the snow I would sit outside on "sunny" days to enjoy the peace and beauty of a sunny, snowy day. The UV may not have been high enough to have had much impact on my vitamin D levels but it still made me feel so happy.
What makes you joyful? Are you a nature lover like me?
Here's a video on how you can feel more joy.
🎥 Do you need to feel more joy in your life?
You can help make the world better simply by becoming more joyful.
So how can you start feeling happier and more joyful?
Well for starters look at who is in your life...
May the last month of 2020 be wonderful for you...and here's to an amazing 2021!
Love and Blessings
