Desert Landscapes And Bursting Bookshelves 🌵
Dec 26, 2024 3:01 pm
Here I am jumping into your inbox with waaaaaaaaay too many free romance books flapping in the breeze. Plus some desert photos from my October road trip. And a direct download link to my limited-time freebie just in case your local neighborhood Amazon is doing hinky stuff with the price matching. 😉
In case you haven't gotten inundated from every indie author whose newsletters you follow, today is in fact the largest romance book freebie event of the year. Whether you call it "Stuff Your Kindle," "The Romance Bookworms Blast," or "ZoeBub," today's event will make sure your e-reader has enough material to keep you occupied for a good long while.
You can scroll by retailer and by category, so no need to skip over all the books available only on Kindle if you happen to use a different reading app. 💖 I hope you discover lots of enchanting stories by authors old and new.
Meanwhile, if you just want to grab a freebie from the Teutonic Fantasy Realm and don't want to eyeball thousands of eBooks in the process, pick up your copy of Winter Flame right here:
No, obviously you don't have to sign up for my newsletter again. 😝
But you can if you want to. I'm not picky.
Or find Winter Flame on your favorite retailer:
*Note to Kindle users: I have a sneaking suspicion that the price matching hasn't quite happened yet on some of the Amazon storefronts, so if that's true where you live, please use the direct download link instead.
Welcome To The Desert
Maybe I should have picked some other font color rather than a festive green, considering I've got 4 photos to share from my visit to Valley of Fire State Park in Nevada. An excellent place to spend a few hours, as long as you jump in your car with the AC running in between sites due to the excessive heat. It may have been autumn when my husband and I visited, but it was HOT.
Despite the brutal desert landscape, there's actually quite a bit of plant life that thrives on very little water. Yes, some of those scruffy bush-like things are actually cacti. Don't want to fall on top of one. 😵
Here's the obligatory "Yes, I was indeed there" photo. And in fact, I'd like to visit at least one more time. Maybe in December so I won't have to sweat so much!
Now I know most of us won't exactly understand the point of this sticker, but it caught my eye on our way out of Fire Canyon. And I got a good laugh out of it, since I've also visited Baden-Württemberg.
Other Bookish Events
In case you missed my last email, here's a rundown of the other book fairs & sales going on until the end of December. If one or more of them catches your eye, click on the graphic to check out what books are waiting for you.
Now I'd better get going because my husband and I spent yesterday on the road, and now it's time to stuff ourselves with Sugar Hill subs. Yep, we're in New Jersey for a quick visit, and that means Italian American food galore. You might hear from me again in a few days, assuming I'm not in a food coma.
Wishing you a wonderfully weird holiday season, no matter how you celebrate. Don't forget to nab a free copy of Winter Flame, and take a peek at all the other eBooks available at Romance Bookworms. Links below.
