Merry Christmas. 😈

Nov 06, 2021 5:31 pm

Guess what? (This is the part where my kids pipe up with "chicken butt!") Halloween is over which means it's acceptable to start playing Christmas music! My husband is walking around wearing ear plugs while I belt out every Christmas song I know. 😍

Reading update:

Have you been reading Christmas books at all?

I'll be honest, I haven't been reading very much fiction lately...Because I've been writing so much!

Writing update:

November and December are my creative months, and am off to a flying start. I promised myself nothing big would be happening these months, no big deadlines, just holidays and writing, and unfortunately I'm having so much fun writing these stories that I can't wait to share them with you!

I'm writing two stories right now and here's some hints:

Accidental marriage & fake fiancé. Two fun tropes I've never written before.

(Mr. H.O.A. was a fake MARRIAGE 😜 got to keep these things straight)

Book release update:

SOON and very soon, I'm sending a Vacations Like This sneak peek your way. 😃

You can preorder it for 2.99 here, because when it releases it will be going back up to 3.99!

CHRISTMAS BOOK TIME!!!

You guys. Melanie Jacobson has written a Christmas book!! (She's one of the other authors who was part of the Love, Laughter, and Happily Ever After boxset and she's tons of fun!) She said that she's been WANTING to write a Christmas story for a while now but wanted to wait for the perfect idea...well, she found it. So here it is! And it's a fun one!

(OH, and it's in KU too!)

From USA Today bestselling writer and the author of So Not My Thing comes a brand new Christmas romance about two friends who get caught in their own faking dating trap. Swoony and unapologetically funny!

He might be the hottest teacher in town but not even Noah Redmond can convince me to date a small-town guy.

The last thing I want is to put my awesome career on pause while I run my dad’s hardware store, but duty calls so what am I supposed to do? I can’t wait to get out of Creekville again, and I’m doing great keeping everyone at arm’s length until my best friend tries to set me up with the hot new high school coach. He’s got me literally tripping over my own feet, but I’m not giving in to those dimples.

I'm burnt out on love, but Grace Winters is the funniest—and most attractive—woman I’ve ever met.

Too bad Creekville is just a detour for her. I get it. But when I recruit her to help me build a Christmas booth for the town’s biggest event of the year, I learn just how irresistible she is. And if that’s not bad enough, when I talk her into fake dating to convince my boss I’m ready for a promotion, we share an unplanned kiss that blurs every line we’ve drawn.

Is Grace and Noah's undeniable chemistry worth risking their friendship when their future is anything but certain? Get ready for small town charm and toe-curling mistletoe kisses!
