Writing update: I'm writing a story in a notebook. It's the first time I've attempted to draft an entire story by hand. As you all know, I'm obsessed with notebooks. I fill them with scenes, ideas, characters, etc. They're where the brainstorming magic happens. But this is the first time I've attempted to write an entire first draft by hand...and I have to tell you, it's been fun!! More updates coming soon.

Reading update: I'm reading Heirs of Falcon Point. (I blame you, Mandy!) I'm not quite halfway yet, but I'm loving it. It starts out during WWII but then moves forward to later generations.

And that's all I have today! I would love to hear what you all are reading right now. 💕

Lots of love and awkward hugs,

Carina Taylor

I love Whitney Dineen and can't wait to read her latest release! She writes closed door romantic comedies that are so fun!

Family drama is something Lutéce Choate struggles to avoid. With a mother who's an award-winning country western song writer, an aunt who's a Country Music Hall of Famer, and a brother who's a rock star, it hasn't exactly been a low-key kind of life, and she's ready for a break.

Then Lu's younger sister, Claire, goes off and gets engaged to a prince from Malquar, bringing the dreaded spotlight back to shine on their family once again. Lu wants to go to the engagement party about as much as she wants to yodel the Star Spangled Banner at the Grand Ole Opry with her crazy relatives. Alas, not going, doesn't appear to be an option.

Alistair George Henry Bere Hale is not the heir, but the spare. Without the weight of the Crown in his future, he's managed to live the carefree life of a man about town. That is until his younger brother gets engaged before him and their mother starts pressuring him to settle down. Alistair represents everything that Lutéce has come to despise—he's a rich, playboy, partier, who's always in the spotlight... But Alistair doesn't feel the same about Lu. In fact, he's quite drawn to his brother's future sister-in-law, prickles and all.

When Lu and Alistair's mothers witness the sparks between their children, they start to make plans of their own. Will Lu relax her prejudices long enough to get to know Alistair?

Find out in the fabulously funny fourth book in the Seven Bride's for Seven Mothers Series.

I can never date my boss. Ever. Or I’ll be thrown into a pit of mice--the most horrible death imaginable! (Will someone please explain that to my grandma?)

Harmony

How did this happen? I’ve fallen for West, while I’m fake-dating his brother, the rockstar. And technically, they’re both my bosses!

Does this mean I’ll have to die twice by intense mouse-terror?

West

My grandma tried to set me up with Harmony, but I rejected the idea before I met her.

Big mistake! Turns out Harmony is adorable, even dripping wet and splattered with mud.

Thanks to me, Harmony’s now dating my brother. Yeah, it’s a fake relationship, but I’ll never win her back from my famous brother.

That’s what happens when I try to find a way around my meddling grandma’s crazy plans. No one gets the best of GeeBee!

Harmony

West and I shared a kiss!

I thought it was dreamy, but he’s been avoiding me ever since. No doubt, I’m an awful kisser.

But I’m not giving up! I’ve been studying new kissing techniques from a magazine article. If I get another chance, I’ll be ready…

West

I absolutely, positively can never kiss Harmony again. Her kisses explode all the brain cells that control common sense.

If my brother finds out I’m into Harmony, he might not record her song on his album.

I can’t reveal my true feelings when Harmony’s future success and happiness is on the line.

You'll love this laugh-out-loud romantic comedy from USA Today bestselling author Tamie Dearen!

Read West and Harmony's story, now!

This heartwarming, rockstar romance is the first of the Underground Granny Matchmaker romantic comedy series. Lighthearted, fun-filled stories of finding love with a little help from grandma!
