What gets measured, gets managed.

And the number 1 thing people need to be measuring, IS THEIR HEALTH, ESPECIALLY THEIR SLEEP.
I care about my health.
But I also care very much about YOUR health too.
Because what is the point of being healthy if your friends and family aren't healthy too?
YOU MUST BE THE CHANGE YOU WISH TO SEE!!!
In all areas of your life.
And getting quality sleep will make you healthier, happier, and a better human being all around.
But what should you be measuring?
Your brain, liver, and other vital organs detox while you are in deep sleep.
So the first thing you should be tracking is how many hours of deep sleep do you get per night?
Here is me in Dec of 2020 -> 1 hour and 28 minute average.
Here is me now... closing in on a 3 hour deep sleep average!!!
But CJ, you could just be spending more time in bed, thus getting more deep sleep...
FUN FACT... I am actually spending less time in bed now than I did in 2020. :)
Here is proof.
Dec 2022 -> 8 hours 28 min average.
Now... 8 hours 20 min average.
Why am I showing you this?!?
- If you are having ANY health issue whatsoever, I want to convince you to start tracking your sleep. You will see your resting heart rate, HRV, deep sleep, R.E.M., temperature, respiratory rate and more. This data is critical to finding your baselines and understanding your health!!!
- I want you to believe that you can make positive changes. Previous bloodwork has shown that my health is not the greatest around. And at times I lost hope that I would change for the better. Yet, focusing on measuring things like sleep has helped improve my overall health DRAMATICALLY. And the proof is in the data. When I get more deep sleep, when my heart rate is lower, HRV is higher... I feel GREAT. So I maintain the habits that help me hit those metrics, and get rid of the bad habits that hurt them.
- Maybe I can help you. If you have questions about bloodwork, sleep tracking, exercise, nutrition... reach out. I'd love to help or point you in the right direction.
What gets measured, gets managed.
START MEASURING AND MANAGING YOUR HEALTH!
IT IS THE ONLY THING THAT TRULY MATTERS.

p.s. I am grateful to live in an era that gives me the ability to measure my health. Decades ago I would still be suffering, yet today I am empowered to cure myself.
