š A Season for Letting Go and Welcoming Support
Sep 22, 2024 12:41 am
Dear ,
As the seasons change and we watch the leaves fall, it's the perfect time to reflect on what we, too, need to release. Just as nature sheds whatās no longer needed, we can take this time to let go of old stories, patterns, and pressures weāve been carrying.
Iāve been thinking a lot about this myself latelyāthe idea that we donāt have to do it all, and we donāt have to do it alone. For so long, Iāve held on tightly, putting on my brave face and pushing through lifeās challenges. But in a moment of deep reflection this week, I heard a simple yet powerful message:
āSurrender ~ help is on the way.ā
This season, Iām embracing that message. Iāve realized that Iāve been holding on too tightlyātrying to control everything, trying to be everything for everyoneāand itās left me drained. What if, instead, we allowed ourselves to receive help? To trust that we donāt have to carry everything on our own?
Letting Go and Calling in Support
āThe trees are about to show us how lovely it is to let things go.ā
Just like the trees, we, too, can release what no longer serves usāthe stories that tell us we need to do it all alone, the patterns that leave us exhausted. What if this fall, you gave yourself permission to let go and welcome the support you deserve?
This year has been challenging for so many of us. Iāve felt it too, and itās my prayer that the last three months of this year will be a time for renewalāfor me, for you, for all of us.
3 Ways to Let Go and Receive Help this Fall:
āØRelease the Need to Be Perfect: None of us are perfect, and weāre not meant to be. Instead of trying to manage everything, practice asking for help where you need it most. It may feel uncomfortable, but it's the first step toward balance.
šÆāāļøCreate Space for Support: Itās one thing to ask for help, and another to actually receive it. This fall, give yourself permission to say āyesā to the support offered to you, whether itās big or small. Opening yourself to receive makes you stronger, not weaker.
š§āāļøTake Time to Breathe: We often hold onto stress without even realizing it. Make a daily practice of pausing, taking a deep breath, and releasing the tension youāve been carrying. This season, let each exhale remind you that itās okay to let go.
In a few days, Iāll be sharing more about how learning to ask for help has been transformative for meāand why itās such a powerful practice. Plus, Iāll be offering you a special opportunity to prioritize your self-care this fall.
Letās make these last few months of the year the most restorative and balanced yet.
With love,
Charity š
