This May, claim your unwavering presence. ✨

Hello ,

Earlier this week, we talked about the quiet ways we give ourselves away, those small concessions that add up to a significant energetic debt. You know, those moments in the car, or the reheated coffee.

Thinking about that led me back to a quiet struggle I've navigated: the feeling that my peace, my space, even my simple creations had to constantly prove their worth. It looked like my efforts being dismissed, my quiet corners being dismantled, or feeling like I was always negotiating my right to simply exist in my own life. As if I were a guest, rather than someone with an inherent right to my own sanctuary.

There was a moment – after many small moments of quiet erosion – where something in me shifted. I decided to reclaim a small, sacred piece of my world. Not loud, not dramatic, but with a very clear, internal declaration: "This stays." It wasn't just about the physical space; it was about the profound realization that my need for peace, my right to create, my presence itself, didn't need to be earned.

And that's the truth I want to whisper to you today: Your worth, and your right to care for yourself and claim your space, is inherent. It's not something you earn after every last task is done, after every person is pleased, or after every expectation is met. It's not a reward for being "good enough." It simply is.

We've been taught a different story, haven't we? A story where self-care is a luxury, where rest is indulgence, where prioritizing ourselves is "selfish." But that narrative keeps us in that subtle, quiet cost we felt into on Wednesday. It keeps us waiting for a permission slip that will never arrive from the outside.

So, consider this your permission slip. Signed, sealed, and delivered: You are allowed to be here. You are allowed to take up space. You do not have to disappear to be loved. 💖

This weekend, as you navigate your days, I invite you to find one small moment for yourself where you consciously choose to pause, to breathe, to simply be – not because you've earned it, but because it is your birthright.

With you in it, always,

Charity 🤍

P.S. As Mother's Day approaches, I'm honored to show you how "May You" can be your steady compass for reclaiming your peace, trusting yourself, and truly coming home. Keep an eye out over the next few days. ✨
