We're close to halfway through the year (and my birthday month), so let's check in with the goals for the year!

• Read 100 books (25+ books read)
• Attend a book signing or convention (No news yet... or is there?)
• Write another three books ✅(3 drafts written)
• Publish my intended releases (1 book released)
• Reach 3000 followers on Instagram ✅ (6k)
• Reach 500 followers on Tiktok (413 followers on Tiktok)
• Participate in at least three group giveaways for my books throughout the year ✅ (3 done and several pending)

The Lies We Tell: RELEASE DAY INCOMING

The Lies We Tell will be out in nine days!

After TSM, I questioned whether I had another book in me or if I could stomach my heart being shattered into a million pieces again. But I decided to pick up the pen and keep writing.

This book was the result. She's beautiful, filled with whimsy and wonder, brimming with romance for lovers of romantic comedies and wholesome fun. To me, she is the world.

Welcome to the shelf. You were worth every moment of doubt I weathered through.

BLACKBIIRD by Beyonce + Heathen and Honeysuckle by Sarah A. Bailey

As a kid, Blackbird was one of my favorite Beatles songs. It stood as a comfort during the hard days of living in an abusive household. The song inspires a message of hope, and Beyonce's version has the same effect. However, the layered meaning of the lyrics- referencing black women during the Civil Rights Movement in the 60s- and the inclusion of black women country artists put the perfect spin on a classic.

Heathen and Honeysuckle is an upcoming release by fellow indie author Sarah A. Bailey, set around a story of first loves and second chances. Complete with coastal vibes and lots of yearning, this book is a must-have alongside The Lies We Tell.
