2024 Goals: April Update

Let's kick things off with our monthly goal check-in. Slow and steady always wins the race; these goals are no different. Depending on how my writing schedule goes in the next month, I might tweak some of the goals.

Cassandra's 2024 goals

• Read 100 books (15+ books read)
• Attend a book signing at an indie store (No news yet)
• Write another three books ✅(3 drafts written)
• Publish my intended releases (1 book released)
• Reach 3000 followers on Instagram ✅ (5.9k)
• Reach 500 followers on Tiktok (355 followers on Tiktok)
• Participate in at least three group giveaways for my books throughout the year ✅ (3 done and several pending)

L to R: Something Blue by VOILA and Finally Home by Holly Crawford

VOILA is an indie/alternative duo with some underrated bangers. While I love many of their prior releases, which have shown up in my playlists for various novels (such as Book 2 of the Royal Ridge Romances), Something Blue is my favorite song by far! It's like a modern-day "I Write Sins, Not Tragedies" from the perspective of the bride's ex-boyfriend, who is drawn into her web of twisted lies and declarations of love while actively marrying someone else.

Finally Home by Holly Crawford tells the story of a second chance between Wren and Rhodes. If you want friends to lovers, a second chance, secret tattoos, a demisexual male lead, swoon-worthy and steamy sex scenes, and a sweet romance overall, this is a book you should pick up!
