Hi all,

Two months down, but there are so many exciting things on the horizon for us this year. I have so much to share with you, as always, and I'm grateful for your support.

For the March newsletter installment, we've got a goal check-in with some developments, a surprise blurb reveal (don't tell anyone), and a new Media of the Month segment. Please enjoy!

Always yours,

Cassandra Diviak

2024 Goals: March Update

Let's kick things off with our monthly goal check-in. You keep me accountable to these goals so I don't slack off. Because of you, I aim for the stars and nothing less.

Cassandra's 2024 goals

  • Read 100 books (10+ books read)
  • Attend a book signing at an indie store (No news yet)
  • Write another three books (2 drafts written)
  • Publish my intended releases (1 book released)
  • Reach 3000 followers on Instagram ✅ (5.5k)
  • Reach 500 followers on Tiktok (289 followers on Tiktok)
  • Participate in at least three group giveaways for my books throughout the year (3 done and several pending)

The community I'm building has me extremely proud. I'm connecting with so many people who appreciate my work. The community has always been important to me, and I want this year to have me giving back what I get.

The Lies We Tell: Blurb Reveal

The Lies We Tell has a little over two months before its release day, and the cover reveal will be at the end of the month (March 23) to keep the hype high. However, for being a dedicated fan, you get an early view of the blurb.

All's fair in love and war, even a few little white lies to stir up a little drama.

Giselle Courtland imagined her future revolving around a simple housewife life with her high school sweetheart, James. But when James unceremoniously dumped her for not being sophisticated enough, her certainty and self-confidence were shattered. Giselle didn't know how to pick up the pieces until someone she once knew returned to her life with a proposition.

Jude Beauregard had all the makings of a modern gentleman, complete with his focus solely on his studies. With his head in the books and a largely private personality, his parents worried about him wasting his best years stuck in study mode. Tired of dodging suitors, Jude discovered a solution in Giselle's recent split from his rival and an opportunity to fix a wrong from their high school years.

So, with one little lie, Jude and Giselle declare themselves a couple, planning to play lovestruck until they get what they need. But neither could anticipate how their arrangement might uncover old feelings throwing a twist in their fake relationship.

ISN'T IT SO EXCITING? I can't wait for everyone to meet Jude and Giselle in a few months. Their story brought me so much joy to write.

Madison Beer Releases New Song “Make You Mine” - pm studio world wide music news

L to R: Make You Mine by Madison Beer and Changeling by Arista Holmes

Make You Mine is infectious bubblegum pop. Madison Beer always has this underrated reputation within the pop world, willing to step outside the mainstream box. I listened to the song for three days because it made my ADHD happy. If you choose to listen to the song, be prepared to move and grove.

Changeling is the debut novel of my good friend, but it's nostalgic, like the fantasy books I read as a kid. The book is a fresh take on the fey, vampires, and fish-out-of-water story we all know and love. The book starts a trilogy, with the second installment coming sometime this year. If you like original lore, magical creatures, slow-burn enemies to allies to lovers, found family, and other tropes in the same vein, it's worth it.

Upcoming Treats

For the next month, I have a few important things planned. The cover reveal will be toward the end of the month, more giveaways are planned tentatively for the spring season, and ARC opportunities will come out in the same time frame as the cover reveal.

That's all for now! Stay safe and in good spirits, everyone!
