#72 – What makes you happy?

The Ego wants to win over others. The True Self seeks contentment, no matter where others stand.

The Ego prefers finite games that end when someone wins and another one loses because winning proves its #1 ranking. But the True Self doesn't need rank in order to be content. So it plays infinite games, where people can play endlessly because the point is to play, not to win.

The Ego adores hierarchies, especially if It's on top. The True Self thrives in collaboration, horizontality, shared power, and equality.

For the Ego, power is Power Over, or Force: a fist banging the table, a "my way or the highway" type of style.

For the True Self, power is Power With because it seeks to elevate itself with others. Instead of rank, it values Togetherness.
