Instagram LogoGood-bye 2022. Hello 2023. Every time a year ends and a new one begins it feels a little weird. So much desire for change. So much expectation. So much optimism. So much ??? Collectively and personally. Here’s what I hope for 2023: We keep what‘s working We drop what’s hindering We declare what we want We commit to it We have the resilience to manage the challenges That’s it. Nothing fancy. The recipe for an awesome year isn’t rocket science. Here’s to you having all the ingredients you need for the year you want. ❤️
Instagram LogoTime to recharge with a PNW nature hike. A little effort. A lot of beauty.
Instagram LogoWe don’t often get snow but when we do, we pile it up and turn our children into human sleds. 😂
Instagram LogoToday only! Your donation will be matched, so your money funds more services and research for kids with cancer. Link to donate in bio.
Instagram LogoThank you to @szewingvetault for having me on her podcast. We discussed ways to shift our perspective around being a single parent, the importance of modelling self-care for our children, how to foster positive emotions for greater success and more. Link in my bio. Enjoy!
Instagram LogoI'm so excited to share the most recent episode of "A Resilience Project" with host Cindy Thompson. We talk about building resilience as single/solo/co-parents: how asking for help is a strength, letting go is a gift, and loving ourselves is the best foundation of our growth and healing. Cindy is a fantastic host and I really enjoyed this conversation. I hope you enjoy it too. Listen on your favourite podcast platform or at the link in my bio.
Instagram LogoSometimes I just need to buy some shiny things and let my creativity flow. Looking forward to seeing what I’ll make with these gems.
Instagram LogoHappy St Patrick’s Day!!
Instagram LogoHappy Valentine’s to me!! The 14th is a work day so I spent Saturday and Sunday loving on myself (yes, 2 days!). If you’ve been waiting for someone else to spoil you on this day, I’m writing you a permission slip to stop that nonsense. This year, self-love was a few new tops, learning to make pain perdu with @thelondonchef and going mountain biking…because I damn well deserve these things for Valentine’s whether I’m in a relationship or not. So go ahead and love on yourself (often) no matter what life situation you find yourself in. #selflove #selfcare #valentinesday
Instagram LogoA new year and a fresh opportunity to tap into something that’s been missing. This is all that remains of a piece of music I wrote when I was a teenager. I’ve hung onto it even though I didn’t think I would ever play it again. Today, after a nudge from a friend, I took it out, played it and even added a few more bars. I can’t recover what was lost but I can take what remains and create a new piece of music, exercising those creative muscles that have been sitting idle for so long. #selfexpression #create #nevertoolate
