getting a little personal today

Hey Calm & Colorful Mama!!

The other day I had a super fun adventurous mommy milestone with my 5-month-old....we went to the grocery store. I know this seems super small, and to a first-time mommy, this is such a big deal! I don’t get to do it as much as I’d like, so it felt really awesome to actually check off that errand and navigate the aisles with my little baby boy front facing observing the store.

Something else I don’t do as much as I should...connecting with people I like over the things I love.

Hence this email. Building Calm & Colorful. I love connecting with fellow parents, doing creative projects, and finding joy in the everyday chaos of parenthood. And as a member of our supportive community, I hope at least some of that resonates with you, too.

So what do you love to do? What do you want to do more of? Why do you love parenting?

With love & gratitude,

Jessica Brittani
