Separator Sizing, Design criteria, Type & Internals Selection

As process engineers, we understand the importance of separator sizing in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of various processes in the oil and gas, chemical, and other industries. We can hardly find a process without a separator or a surge drum.

That's why proper separator sizing is a main duty of a process engineer as it is crucial in achieving optimal separation of liquids, gases, and solids, which in turn affects the overall performance of the process.
