[Positive Intelligence] Second week check-in
Jul 28, 2023 3:41 pm
Dear ,
As we’re nearing the end of our second week of practice together, I wanted to reach out and offer some suggestions.
For most people the practice of focusing on your own nasty Judge Saboteur for an entire week is not very pleasant. Your Judge becomes more visible, and you might even think more active, as a result. This is a critical step of exposing, discrediting, and weakening this relentless internal enemy.
As you noticed in the second video, Shirzad’s Judge is externally aggressive and visibly forceful, loud, and angry. You might have a quieter and less obvious Judge, relying instead on smug disdain and superiority over you. Rather than anger and aggression, your Judge might display contempt and disdain over you, as if you’re not even worth his/her time. While this kind of Judge might appear less aggressive, it actually is quite destructive, because it hides its true character well. I hope you’ve exposed your Judge well enough to no longer miss its lies and tricks.
What's next
The next video will be available in the app on Saturday. Please try to watch the video before Monday.
In this session, we’ll begin to focus on your top Accomplice Saboteur: Avoider, Controller, Pleaser, etc. Please make sure you designate your top Saboteurs inside the Positive Intelligence app. The week’s Focus of the Day and Coach Challenges will be based on the Saboteur you designate as your top one.
If you have somehow fallen behind your 15 minutes/day of practice, re-inspire yourself by envisioning your life once you develop true mastery over your own mind.
Sustained transformational change requires 20% insight and 80% muscle building. Insights alone can’t counter years of Saboteur habits. Please recommit to doing the 15 minutes/day of practice inside the app. You and your dreams are worth that investment of time.
With gratitude,
Aicila (EYE-ee-sila)
P.S. How has week two gone? Tell me something you learned about your Judge in the community's Share channel, so others might benefit from our conversation. If you want to keep it private, reach out by email.
