Holidays and Planning

I had a plan, really.

I love lists, plans, orders of operation, and I try to make them for my life. Then the fates crack up laughing and send it all spiraling out of control. Or maybe that is just my brain. Or both. All I can say is the books will be out, there will be a launch plan, and there will be an opportunity to buy them direct from me, before they go into KU. I promise to let you know as soon as they are up.

All my Christmas shopping is done and yes I went over board. Oh well. I found some really cool things that I think my family and friends will like and I'm happy with that. For me, I know I'm mostly getting Africa stuff, so that will be amazing. That trip is going to be incredible.

I've spent the weeks both editing and trying to prep for 2025, but the to do list is a bit insane. But since I'm the one that wrote it, it's kinda my fault. It figures. Lol. But I know I'm going to have a banner year next year with tons of books, though Aria, the epic fantasy, is first to get finished.

I hope everyone is have a great holiday season and getting ready for the new year.

Book Recommendations!

Every so often I like a touch of romance, but it is better when there is suspense and mystery in it. If you want to sink into a book with court cases, enemies to lovers, and a threat, check out Unveiled Justice.

Or if you love zombie and cats (well you know I love cats) check out Undead Menagerie with lynx, a devoted zookeeper and zombies. What more can you ask for?

Don't forget to check out these free books form the Women in Fantasy promo! You might find a new author to love.

The Alien

By'ron stepped over the bodies that lay between him and the ship controls. They had been scientists who had poked or prodded him, both physically and mentally. But he had said little. They thought they had an alien to learn from, to learn about. They made notes, recorded reactions and the entire time they never realized they were the ones being studied.

There had been arguments for solar cycles on sending an evaluator to this planet. In the end they had decided it was necessary and sent him. He had been here for one moon cycle of their moon and had learned all he cared to.

So he talked.

With an expression of broken fear he told them how to get into his ship, and get the data from it. The acting had been hard, as there was nohting he feared about them, but the news of how to get in the ship and what it contained spread like a disease through the facility. They were distressingly predictable. Though to be fair, once they opened the ship, with his instructions of course, they were affected by the addiction drug the ship released when that code was entered.

By'ron looked at them and sighed. Most of the council thought these humans weren't ready, but he had hoped they might be willing to welcome with open arms. Obviously his hope was forlorn. A flick of his hand had the small bots pushing the bodies out as he connected to the ship. This planet would have to grow up a bit more. It was odd this group though, they all wore emblems of a red star in a white background and constantly talked about Kim Jong Un and how much he wanted into this ship.

Too bad the information would never reach him.
