Writing More Stories

But there is Cori
I've been working on the new trilogy for Cori At Large. And I have two books done, though not edited. I'm taking a break and working on a new LitRPG book, which so far the only person who has read it is enjoying it. And he's only read Dungeon Crawler Carl. So I'm hoping if I can keep it up it should be a good book. I'm aiming for about 150k (yes, I know I keep saying I'll write shorter books.) so I'm trying to write fast. But..... so far I'm only managing about 2k a day on it. Part of it is the world building and lots of going back and tweaking things. But I'm hoping by the end of this week it will be closer to 3k. In theory (and we know how well those work) I should be able to get 60k before I lose three weeks to travel from Oct 22 to Nov 9th. Let's hope I manage more and that number is much better.
Otherwise I still have the dwindling copies of Exiles' Refrain if you want to get a physical copy, you can find them here. But you can read it on Kindle Unlimited and it is a long book, so be ready for this. Exiles' Refrain doing decent, but if you read it and loved it, please review. If you hated it... let me know why?

Necessity
"Are you sure?" Salir's voice shook as she peered into the small town.
~Yes.~
The word echoed in her mind, but she could feel Refay's presence behind her. The ethereal glow cast no heat, but it soothed her all the same. There was something about having your back protected by a Fernari of legend to give you confidence.
"I still don't know why you can't come with me."
~We have talked about this. You need protection from the elements. Your fur is lacking. The shiny stones we found should get you what you need. If I went with you, it would cause a panic or extreme responses. You will be fine.~
Salir couldn't help but doubt. Her experience with people made her doubt there was any goodness in them. She patted at the shiny stones in her pouch. Men had killed over less.
Her doubt must have been obvious as Refay spoke again. ~You know how to tell lie form truth and if any touch you, well you know how to deal with that too. I have faith in you soft skin.~
Salir snorted. Her soft skin was the only reason she needed to venture into this town. Her shoes had fallen apart ages ago and winter was nipping at the heels of fall. Without fur, she'd die, or worse lose fingers or toes to the kiss of frost.
"I know," she said softly and stood. Memories were scarier than the forest any day. "I'll be back. Wait for me?" There was a hint of uncertainty in her tone.
Refay leaned down and sniffer her hair. ~Forever. You are mine. I do not release that which is mine.~
"Good." Salir gave her companion one last pet and headed down into the town, hoping for the best, ready for the worst.
