Yay, Spring! Crap, Pollen!

Everything is yellow.
Once again pollen season in Georgia has hit. My flames on my truck are all tinged yellow. Oh well. I did pass the first milestone on the truck yesterday--I scratched through the wrap. At least I did it, but ugh.
Everyone likes it, though now that my name is plastered on it I need to make sure I don't cut anyone off while driving. They will absolutely remember me.
Words are Magic launched yesterday. So far people seem to enjoy it - though confused by the 1 star review with zero comments. Rolls eyes. Find it to make your own decision here.
Unbalanced Luck is with the betas. The audio of Faded Luck is with the beta's. I am cleaning my house this week, then I'll start on Balanced Luck while I wait for people.
While you are waiting check out Cliff Hock: Thunderclap. It is a sci-fi whodunnit mystery, which is always fun. This one is on sale for .99 so grab it while you can.
Then a freebie for you--War of the Wolves. Witches, shapeshifters, magic items - hits a lot of check boxes for me. And free can let you find some interesting treasures.
This week I'm recycling an old story, but adding a new twist. Tell me what you think and if they are popular I'll work on adding all of them to YouTube.
Sparkler
Sara stared at her sparkler then the swirling lights spinning faster and faster. It was just supposed to leave an aftermath of lights on your eyes. Then fade, not start spinning on its own.
"Mom?" She called as she took three big steps back. The spinning circle got bigger and brighter against the setting summer sky.
"What?" Her mom's exasperated voice came through the screen door and Sara flinched. But still, this was important right? Something to call her mom for?
She swallowed and yelled back. "Nothing." But she didn't take her eyes off the lights. It was now half the size of her body and steady. She swore the purple in the center wasn't the same color purple as the sky.
"Yes? Where would you like to go?" A scratchy voice spoke and Sara spun looking for the speaker.
"Well? Where do you want to go?" The voice came again, irritation that sounded eerily like her mother.
"Go where?" Her voice dropped to a near whisper.
"Really? Is this a prank?" Annoyance sharp and clear.
"No?" Sara said, though she wasn't sure.
"I hate misdials," the voice grouched. "Remember to not use the Portal Dialing Sticks unless you want to go somewhere. There is a two gold charge for continued misuse. Good bye!" the spinning portal winked out.
Sara looked at the sparkler she'd snuck out of her mom's room and laid it down. Maybe she shouldn't be playing with her mom's stuff anymore.
