How are you doing?


I hope you're well.


I'm very well! I've just come back from a short break to Scotland. I'm in no doubt about climate change - I got off the place in Edinburgh and it was 28 degrees or 82F and that is warm for a place that is known for COLD weather!! 🌞🌞😎😎


And so today my newsletter is going to focus on being present in the workplace.


Because as leaders, managers or team mates, it's important to be more "Present" in the workplace especially with Hybrid-working. Being present and emotionally intelligent is really a vital skill for today's working environment.


Today I'm going to share with you 3 tips for being present in the workplace. And also give you the premier of my recent article with HR Zone which is on why EQ is vital in the Hybrid-working world.


But first the 3 tips are noted below:


✅ When you have a 1-2-1 with a colleague or someone you line manage give them your full attention: Mentally - put your own To Do List Down!

✅ Talk less and ask more QUESTIONS - Listen to what is said and what isn't said!

✅ Create an environment where you can focus on the individual or group in that moment that allows you to - Understand, Support, Improve and Help your team to Thrive
