I am well.
Recently I've been thinking a lot about what makes me personal thrive as work and build my business. I'm sharing with you today, 3 wellbeing practice:
1 Cut out or reduce contact with the people that drain you
Who we spend our time with has a high impact on our mental and physical health. You know the people in your personal and professional life that drain you. Consider, how can you realistically reduce contact with them? Consider these 2 tips:
1 Exit Whatsapp groups that they are the main voice or put it on mute.
2 Think about how important is that person strategically to your life or career and decide what's the smallest action you can take to reduce them draining your space?
2 Invest in a good bedtime routine
To thrive we need good quality sleep. Making a conscience effort to have a routine to allow your body, mind and spirit to disengage from work mode will help you get better quality sleep. Consider these two tips:
1 Set an alarm 1 Hour before you intend to go to bed and start your wind down activities, such as no screen time, putting your thoughts about work in your "parking lot" journal or notepad and preparing your diary and equipment the night before.
3 Emotional Awareness & Regulation
There is a lot that we can do to become more self-aware. One of those things is around knowing our emotional triggers and habits which don't serve us will help us to improve our wellbeing. Consider these two tips:
1 Are you able to say how you feel or do you find it a struggle? If you find it a struggle this can lead to problems with emotional repression and low moods festering longer that they should if you were more open with yourself and accepting of how you feel.
2 Are you aware of any emotional bad habits? Do you have issues with rumination, and endless cycles of negative or unconstructive thoughts?
