Hello Dear Friends,

I hope you're well.

Welcome to the first day of your New Year! Today is the day, I believe we all have the opportunity to calibrate ourselves and decide what we want to get started on this year, so we're ready to open 2023 with clarity focus and confidence.

Which brings me onto the topic of this newsletter, which is rest and well-being. I also support individuals and companies on well-being because it's a vital ingredient for happy employees, for employee retention and recruitment.

Part of what I think makes a company culture great, is recognising that rest and well-being are vital to creating the success we desire as individuals, teams and companies. In addition to celebrating your individual, team and company wins! I believe that having the opportunity to share success, to say thank you and to share your learnings on a regular basis is sure fire way to creating a culture of learning, growth and improvement. It helps to make your culture dynamic, living and a forward thinking culture.

I wanted to share a perspective about being empathetic and supportive if neurodiverse employees or any employee doesn't "want to be a joiner at every party or social".

Sometimes a neurodiverse individual may be experiencing stress or seeing the signs for burnout and they realise they need to take a break and they also wish to avoid sensory over-load they may opt out of a social opportunity.

Just be human, and check-in and ask are you doing ok? Would you like to share anything? It's ok not to join this event, we would love to have you at the next one.

Finally these 2 great articles remind us why Rest is part of ALL of our Success.
