How are you doing?

I'm feel very inspired by the Spring weather in South East London today! I'm also excited by the fact, some of the things which I am most proud of have come out of "social accidents"! What I mean by that was I attended an event with one intention and then came back signed up or more involved than I had anticipated or had in mind!

Here's a quick story to demonstrate what I mean, when I first went to TLA Black Women in Tech as it was called then, my intention was to network meet other Black Women in Tech, learn and too collaborate. A casual conversation with Flavilla Fongang got me co-opted at that point into helping with event organising and speaker out reach.

It escalated quickly and although I was a little overwhelmed at the time I just went with it, because I enjoyed being with such inspirational, intelligent and powerful women. So I put my discomfort to one side and I stuck with it!

An open invitation for all to join us Black Women, Allies and interested collaborators.

The point of my story and the newsletter today is to accept the opportunities that push you out of your comfort zone because that is when the magic happens!
