So, this has indeed made me think about how do I identify?

Identity is a complex topic rooted in many different ideologies, social constructs and lenses. I think sometimes depending on the lens in from which we ourselves view ourselves and in turn how others view how we identify can be both a recipe for conflict or indeed an opportunity to create a recipe for success.

I currently have my poll open for the topic for this month's Masterclass. The front runner is "Cultural Identity and Career Progression".

I would like you to consider the following 3 questions about how do you identify and how does it make you feel?

1 Have you ever considered if how you identify serves you? I mean do you tend to positively or negatively identify in the main?

2 Have you considered if your cultural influences are embedded within your thinking? Have you ever considered if these values serve you in the workplace or in your career?

3 How does how you identify help you to advance in your career? What values are you led by?
