What masks do you wear and does this support building a more inclusive culture in your organisation?

Hello Dear Friends, I hope you're well.

In this week's newsletter, I'm going to focus on how to build a more inclusive organisation.

We are all responsible for contributing to a more inclusive culture. One of the keys is be more self-aware and to reflect on your own personal biases and the opportunity that you have for personal growth in this area.

I'm sharing the article by Dr Shungu Hilda M'gadza, who is the author of Understanding and Dealing with Everyday Racism, The Six Stages Framework.

The article for which I contributed too, asks us to explore "the faces" that we wear at work, in our community and on the street. It asks us to consider do they align or is there any incongruence between our faces? And finally, what we can do to support our own personal development and growth as leaders, colleagues, and human beings.

You can read the article published on HR Zone, How can we create a workplace where "masks of tolerance" do not exist: HERE

If you need support with employee well-being, staff retention and supporting neurodiverse employees in the workplace, please get in touch.

Have a great day ahead.

Warm Regard,

Ekua 💛
