Why are Dyslexics so forgetful?
Oct 26, 2022 3:01 pm
Hello Dear Friends,
I hope you're well.
Today I talked about Dyslexia and the myths and facts surrounding why Dyslexics seem so forgetful.
The myth is that Dyslexics are short-circuited when it comes to memory is false.
What is TRUE:
- Dyslexia can affect short-term memory
- Dyslexics may struggle with remembering if they have completed a recent task, sent the email or significant dates
- Dyslexics may also struggle to remember how to get to a place they have been before
- Dyslexics may also struggle to remember names and faces
I'm also excited to share with you if you're a manager or L and D lead about my Group Neurodiversity training for Managers/L&D Leaders. I'm seeking 8 of you to join me in Jan 2023 to get clear on your neurofacts and come away armed how to create inclusive and thriving team cultures.
