How are you feeling?

Hello Dear Friends,
How are you feeling?
We are now in the final month of the year, which can bring on a range of mixed emotions.
Today I want to focus in on well-being and reminding us all that we cannot be our best selves if we're not healthy or well.
So today I'm sharing 3 questions to check-in with yourself and your teams on their well-being:
1 How are you feeling about being in December?
This is an open question, for you to be open and honest with yourself or your colleague about how you feel. Once you have acknowledged how you "really feel", then you have the opportunity to decide get a fresh perspective, be kind to yourself and to consider what opportunities being in December brings to you personally and professionally.
2 How are you feeling about your work/life balance?
This is an opportunity to think about is this balance currently working for you right now? What is 1 thing you can do to improve that balance? This about small change and committing to putting your own health and well-being first. Consider have you been not taking lunch recently or working later than normal? Think about 1 thing you can tackle over the next few weeks and start there. You may also want to check in with yourself and team members about workload.
3 What can I do more of/less of that would support my well-being this month?
The final question is give us the opportunity to think of 1 thing we would like to commit to doing more of that supports your well-being and 1 thing that you will work on reducing and stopping this month. To support your well-being it's good to find ways to keep yourself accountable, so tell a friend, or colleague, make it fun by gamifying it.
Most of all take a moment every day this month to be kind to yourself and to be an empathetic leader and colleague in the workplace.
