We're in the home stretch! In a month and some change, I'll have another book in the wild. The Date Mistake has safely arrived with my editor and we're getting it all polished up and pretty.

April was an adventure for my family. We celebrated two birthdays and got to attend our first baseball game of the season. In true Washington fashion, it started raining during the 7th inning, but it only lasted a few minutes. It sure cleared out the stadium in a hurry, however. The home team ended up winning 9-2!

Book-wise, I helped my future co-author finalize our cover. Yeah, you heard that right. I'm going to team up with one of my favorite people, and we're going to write a book together.

But who? I've had some wild guesses. Some have been really flattering. I'd be ecstatic if some of those authors wanted to write a book with me. I still think everyone is going to love this team effort! All I can say is that this is not going to be my usual writing style. Think darker and more angsty. I hope to have more information to give everyone after the release of The Date Mistake.

There’s only one man I will allow to know me. My mind, heart, and soul are my gifts to Mr. Carter.

Levi

I used to joke with my found family that I had daddy issues as a deflection from my problems. I didn’t want anyone to know that side of me. I had a classic case of it, keeping me from relating to young men my age. All because of my abusive father. At seventeen, I started college and developed an obsession with my advisor, Mr. Ashton Carter. He was everything I could ever want, and I knew deep down he could fulfill my needs that I couldn’t find with anyone else. But I was too young and had to wait until I turned eighteen and play my cards right. Would he want someone with my issues that no one else knew about other than my therapist? And I thought I left my past behind, only to discover that it's trying to claim me once more.

Ash

Levi Dawson was barely seventeen when he first came to me. His brilliant mind struggled to find direction, and I did my best to guide him. The more time we spent together the more he flirted. I knew he had developed feelings for me, but he was too young and I could lose my job at the university if we acted on them. When I stumbled upon Levi as the victim of a brutal attack, I saved him. Since then, he has desperately clung to me. Could I hold back my growing feelings for the young man? He was too hard to resist.

Grayson Cole is stuck: stuck with writer’s block, stuck with no love life, and stuck in a place he no longer feels is home. In an effort to free himself—and discover the mysterious reason he’s so drawn to his mother’s hometown—Gray travels to Scotland, hoping that the wild, beautiful scenery will relight his lost spark.

Upon arrival at a picturesque Loch-side village, Gray quickly realises that the scenery isn’t the only beautiful thing the Highlands has to offer. Hamish Macleod, the fiery young Scotsman who runs the local museum is refreshingly blunt and as sarcastic as they come, and Gray refuses to ignore their instant chemistry . . . even if the lad is an avid believer in the Loch Ness Monster.

They indulge in a no-strings holiday fling, but a series of increasingly vivid dreams—and some life-changing late night encounters—have Gray questioning everything he thought he knew about Loch Ness and its mythical beastie. He's forced to admit that Hamish was right about the creature’s existence, but it turns out, the lad is hiding an even bigger secret, and when Gray finds out the truth, he’s in for a wild ride.

In more ways than one.

OCH, NESS! is a fast-paced, standalone MM monster romance with size difference, Scottish dialect, and soulmates. It involves an introverted English writer who embarks on a path of self-discovery and a cheeky, red-headed Scotsman who is much more than what he seems. OCH, NESS! is part of the WET ’N’ WILD series, where each spice-filled novella follows a different human/water creature pairing and storyline.

Wait for me. Never let me go.

I fell in love with Jackson Moreno in hell, the only two survivors trapped in a catastrophic tunnel collapse. But when rescue comes, I discover he has secrets darker than I could have guessed. He disappears from my life as quickly as he came, and I can’t afford to chase after him when I have to raise my daughter alone.

I fell in love with Jackson Moreno six years later, on a bright summer afternoon, cleaning the lobby of a small-town bank. But he’s still running, and I’m struggling to keep my little family afloat.

I fell in love with Jackson Moreno in three feet of snow, surrounded by garbage and filth, after we lost everything. Because sometimes a tatted bad boy and a shy dad who loves knitting are destined to be together, no matter how many years and miles and memories pull us apart. No matter how many times we have to start over.

If we refuse to be broken, I believe someday we’ll find each other for the last time.

An epic, moving story of second chances and love that defies all odds, featuring a double gay for you relationship full of first times, hurt/comfort, a demisexual main character, and mental health representation!
