You're going to start sensing a theme. Four months of the year gone. It flew by so dang fast. I think I'm just going to have to start expecting that I have too much to do and not enough time to do it all in.

I'm working hard at finishing up The Date Mistake so I can hand it off to my beta readers. I'm really loving this story and I've giggled a lot while writing it. While the focus is comedy, it still has its deeper moments and I'm really happy with the way it's all coming together. This is going the perfect start to a shift in writing for me.

On a personal note, my oldest son turns 8 this month. My husband gets to be 35 with me through September. Their birthdays are pretty close together and it's nice having two April birthdays in the family. Most of my family's birthdays are in June (but not mine).
