MISSION PROGRESS
Draft 1 of The Devil on Klack Mountain just crossed the halfway mark. 50% complete.
This is where the story tips from asking questions to answering them. Threads tighten and the story starts to gain some momentum. Consequences land for all the wreckless behavior from the first half. Bad guys begin closing in.
I can see the ending now. Still work to do—but we’re past the point of no return.

FIELD NOTES
We had a successful weekend at the tree farm. Good work, good weather, and the kind of reset that only comes from spending real time outside. Of course I'm sore and feel like I might die soon, but that's part of the fun!
While stomping around the woods I also got a new level of clarity for Ember's Wedding. Anuka and I are close to an agreement on how to move forward with the story. It's exciting stuff!
