Hey there!

Another great week here at the Kenner homestead! We've had the baby goats for enough time now that they are getting pretty big. That said, it's important that we ensure that baby boys don't--to keep it clean--"get excited" about the girl goats hitting their fertility cycle. For the past few weeks they've had to wear aprons for this very reason. Do they like them? Definitely not. Are they necessary? Absolutely. We don't need any surprise baby goats coming in the next few months. (See pictures at the bottom) Fortunately, the aprons came off, since they've been wethered (no more baby-making for these guys). As it is, we all have uncomfortable things that happen in life, but we can know they'll pass eventually.

Dragonblooded is ready for BETA readers! It seems like that snuck right up on me, but I'm glad to say it's here. Those of you who requested to BETA read the story, I'll be reaching out to you soon to talk about formats and delivering the book. If you haven't signed up, you still can! Dragonblooded is the first of a six book YA portal fantasy series. Think Percy Jackson and I Am Number Four combined.

The Kids of Cybercity series is moving along well also. We finished (at least we believe so) the first draft of book 2 and I started book 3 this week. Looking forward to getting this middle grade sci-fi trilogy out asap!
