Chicken Nuggets and Writing Update
Aug 03, 2023 5:06 pm
Hey there!
Just when you think life is going to slow down a bit, things pick back up and we end up running even faster! Last week we finally reached the time for the meat chickens to meet their fate for the freezer. Fortunately, we are experienced in the process, so it smooth and painless for the chickens. I've added a picture of the great chickens in their little house when they were happy and thriving in the grasses of our property. We are grateful for the opportunity to ensure that we food we eat is raised well and given happy lives.
If you are in the throng of editing yourself, I highly recommend ProWriting Aid to help you. I'm not a grammarian, nor do I seem to be able to keep everything straight when it comes to commas (they will ever be elusive to my understanding), so this tool helps me be more effective in cleaning up my drafts. It even helps you reduce overused words and freshen up the style of your prose. That said, Dragonblooded is currently taking a beating from the system (in a great way) in preparation for the line editing soon. Feedback from the BETA readers has been and will continue to be amazing, I couldn't be more grateful for your help.
Just for fun, I've popped a Midjourney rendering of Urothar, the Orc King from the Dragonblooded series brooding on his throne. Nothing like a bulky big green villain to brighten your Thursday!
