Hey there!

This past week has had a lot of ups and downs. Though things don't always go as planned as an author, homestead, or parent, I try to slow down and appreciate the things that I do have. The week started out with my birthday, which turned out to be a fantastic day. I wanted to share the celebration of my birthday and make all my Ebooks $.99 on Amazon for the week. Even though we had a frost ravage one of our gardens, we've started to realize the efforts of our work. Almost every meal is full of garden fresh vegetables and fruits. There's nothing more satisfying than walking through the thriving garden! (see the picture below). As we get closer to more chickens laying eggs, and to the meat chickens becoming chicken nuggets, the kids have been more and more involved. They love helping with the animals and I'm confident we couldn't do it without their willing help. (another picture below of my son helping with the chickens).

I'm in the process of pumping Dragonblooded through Pro-Writing Aid to freshen it up and get ready for the line editing coming up soon, but know that it's not too late if you wanted your hands on this YA Portal fantasy series starter. My co-author and I are still in the throng of book three of The Kids of Cybercity trilogy. Can I tell you, book three is no joke. These kids are being put through the ringer, and I can't wait to share the completed story with you later this year.
