Instagram LogoJust some front lever work from a few days ago to track my progress through this year.

Instagram LogoAfter a few weeks of taking it easy in the gym due to some shoulder issues, I went through some of my more difficult movements today. Feeling better than ever.
Instagram LogoNot my cleanest handstand but my balance is better than ever. Not too long ago when I’d start to lose my balance, I would just fall. But lately I’m getting a lot better at adjusting with both my feet and my hands.
Instagram LogoCrow to handstand to crow. Next time I’m going for reps.
Instagram LogoThis is probably my “softest” landing yet doing straddle press negatives. I’ve been doing a lot of stretching in between sets everyday to help with this move. Hopefully I get it soon.
Instagram LogoI’ve only done this in the gym a few times and I already feel like I have more control throughout the entire movement. Slowly but surely working my way towards a straddle planche.
Instagram LogoToday was my first day working out after two weeks overseas. It’s definitely a bit stressful to take that much time off when it’s something you usually do nearly everyday when you’re home. The first video shows my first handstand since being back. It took me 3 tries to get it but after that it felt relatively normal again. 2nd, 3rd, and 4th are some of the more advanced movements I do. I had to preserve my sanity and make sure I could still do them. I left America with a sore wrist and a weird pain in my shoulder but they were both gone today so I think the break was worth it even if I did feel rusty today.
Instagram LogoMengokoro Kunimoto. If you’re ever in Tokyo, go. 8 seats in total. If there’s a line it’s definitely worth the wait.
Instagram LogoTuck planche pushups - easily one of the hardest things I do in the gym right now. I record myself almost every time because it’s so easy to break form which is also why I keep reps low. The key is a straight back throughout the push. Not perfect but I’ll get there.
