Last Day of the Smashwords Sale!
Mar 08, 2025 12:31 pm
Hello, my darlings,
How are you all doing? February is a short month, but everything that happened left my head spinning. And so much of it left me angry or disgusted or sad or embarrassed to be an American. I'm doing what I can to stand up to it all and push back, and I'm also doing the best I can to take care of myself and those I love. I hope you are too.
February was also New Jersey Romance Writers' annual JeRoWriMo writing challenge, in which participants try to write 30k words during the month. I wasn't certain I would make it—though I'm better than I was, long covid really has done a number on me—but I did. I wrote just over 30k words, getting there on the night of February 28th. What I'm most excited about is that this challenge has gotten me so close to finishing To Know a Dragon Spy. I'm going to keep pushing and working as hard as I can to get it to you.
Today is the last day of the Smashwords Read an Ebook Week sale. My books are all 50% off there. To Love the Dragon King
Once upon a time, before the hunts, dragons were plentiful in the world. Now they exist only in legend…except in the land of Ivria.
Featured Backlist Book of the Month
With their home in peril, only their bonds with each other and their magic can save them.
Currently Reading
This is book three of the Emily Wilde series and, like the first two, is an utter delight. I'm enjoying it immensely.
Monthly Book Rec
I just read the second to last (*sob*) book in the Beacon Hill Sorcerer series and loved it, so I had to recommend the first book in the series this month. (Have I recommended this here before? Maybe...not sure, but it deserves a rec anyway.)
