Happy Early Valentine's!
Feb 08, 2025 5:31 pm
Hello, my darlings,
Happy Valentine's Day a bit early! Just a short note today, but February is JeRoWriMo, the New Jersey Romance Writers annual writing challenge, and I'm really hoping my innate sense of competition will kick in when faced with a challenge and push me so I can finish To Know a Dragon Spy and get it into your hands.
I hope you're all hanging in there. January felt in longer than it usually does, the last few weeks here in the US especially. It's a scary, frustrating, rage-inducing time, but I'm trying to focus on doing what I can, including lots of contacting my representatives, and on taking care of myself and others. I hope you're all taking care of yourselves too. There are some links to book recs on my blog below if you need something cozy or dragon-related to escape into for a bit.
All the usual things are below, including book recs, some books on sale, and a a few events I'm doing this spring.
some Valentine's themed embroidery I'm using for stress relief

Once upon a time, before the hunts, dragons were plentiful in the world. Now they exist only in legend…except in the land of Ivria.
Featured Backlist Book of the Month
With their home in peril, only their bonds with each other and their magic can save them.
Currently Reading
If you're looking for something Bridgerton-esque but with sapphic romance, this might be the book for you. I'm listening to the audio from my library, and the narrator is great.
Monthly Book Rec
Have I recommended this yet? Not sure, but I'm doing it now because I really enjoyed it. It's described as a gay magical mystery cruise (basically if Agatha Christie wrote fantasy plus gay romance), and it's so fun.
