Smashwords Sale!
Jul 08, 2025 11:31 am
Hello, my darlings,
Did June feel like a long month to anyone else? When I was putting together my monthly reading blog post, I looked back and couldn't believe I'd read some of those books in June and not months ago. That said, I read a bunch of good books in June—the link to the post is below if you're interested.
The big Smashwords Summer/Winter Sale runs through the whole month of July. My books are all 50% off in the sale. It's a great time to pick them up, especially my Chronicles of Tournai and Elemental Magicae books since NineStar doesn't put them on sale very often. Links are below.
I have a couple of events coming up. The Queen of Hearts Book Fair is in Pennsylvania in August. I'm sure I'll have more info about that in next month's newsletter. Also, the Passaic County Book Festival was rained out a few weeks ago, but it seems that they are trying to reschedule for a date in September. I'll keep you posted about that too as I get more info.
I'm continuing to work on To Know a Dragon Spy, the second Dragons of Ivria book. You known by now that I'd hoped to have it in your hands last year and have another book written as well, but long covid messed up all my plans (ugh). But I'm inching toward the finish with this one, and I hope to have news for you soon. All the usual things are below, including book recs (check out the blog posts for lots of books recs!), blog posts, and this month's featured backlist book.

Queen of Hearts Book Fair, Wonderland Madhouse, Tannersville, PA, August 22nd 5-8pm

Books on Sale
My books are all 50% off at Smashwords: To Love the Dragon King and the Chronicles of Tournai/Elemental Magicae.
The Dragon's Devotion is still $1.99 in ebook on Amazon.
To Love the Dragon King
Once upon a time, before the hunts, dragons were plentiful in the world. Now they exist only in legend…except in the land of Ivria.
Featured Backlist Book of the Month
Can he reveal the greatest secret of his people to save the man he loves?
Currently Reading
I'm nearly finished with this book as I write this newsletter, and I have a feeling I'll be thinking about it for a while. It's a take on (sapphic) vampires that is different from anything I've read before, weaving the story of three women together through time.
Monthly Book Rec
Staying on the vampire theme...this time with a M/M romance between a vampire and the monster hunter who tried to kill him.
