Happy Spring!
Apr 08, 2025 11:31 am
Hello, my darlings,
I want to say something about the state of the world, but I'm not entirely certain what to say. I'm trying not to obsessively consume the news and mostly failing, I admit. So much seems bleak, but there are glimmers of light—people coming together and protesting, Senator Cory Booker's twenty-five hour speech on the Senate floor. So I'll just say I hope you're taking care of yourselves and each other and making your voices heard if you can.
This weekend I was at CycloneCon at Centenary University and had a great time meeting readers, despite the miserable weather (it's supposedly spring but it's pretty chilly along with those spring showers). Some pictures of my table and the authors set up in the library are below. I have a couple more events coming up in the next few months, which you can see below, and I'll update you if I add anything new. Next up is the Read the Rainbow signing in Maryland later this month. I hope I'll see some of you there.
To Love the Dragon King was $1.99 over the weekend, and most retailers have switched it back to full price but as of the time this email is going out, it's still $1.99 at Amazon. Grab it there cheap before they change it back! The link is below.
All the usual things are also below, including book recs, blog posts, and this month's backlist book.

To Love the Dragon King is also $1.99 at Amazon (but switching back to full price any time now!).
To Love the Dragon King
Once upon a time, before the hunts, dragons were plentiful in the world. Now they exist only in legend…except in the land of Ivria.
Featured Backlist Book of the Month
A prince. A commoner. A love they can't deny and won't give up.
Currently Reading
Did I want this book in hardcover because it has gorgeous stenciled edges? Yes. (Am I absolutely a sucker for sprayed and stenciled edges? Also yes.) But, I'm also really enjoying this fantasy/gothic mystery/rivals-to-lovers romance.
Monthly Book Rec
This is the third book in the Twilight Mages fantasy romance series and my favorite of the series so far. (Each of the three books stands alone.) There's snark and banter, pining, intrigue...so much fun and I can't wait for the next.
