Happy Monday Morning Folks!!
Holiday Season is upon us. For some that means a slowdown. For others it is busy time. For ANP it means business as usual. We have been kicking ass on 45 second commercials and one-to-ones are increasing. Back to the basics is working well. We keep things simple because every action we take in networking is for the referral. Giving and receiving is the key!
The referral is the carrot on the stick. You eat well if you feed others! Referral, referral. referral! At one point in ANP I received so many referrals during the meetings it was embarrassing. At that time my business was hot, hot, hot: and now it is not, not, not! So what? That is how the market works. Businesses go through hot and cold periods. When business is slow it does not mean there is no work to do. On the contrary, this is the time to ramp up the portions of our businesses which suffer when we are in the throes managing the good fortune of many clients.
My challenge to myself and my networking partners is to put referring someone in our group at the forefront of our minds in the coming weeks ahead. My first thought is of Mary Ellen Dorey and Aroma Therapy, nice gifts for the Holidays. How about Anca and HP Design for personalized gifts. Perhaps stocks and fire extinguishers make delightful gifts with Kelly Mcdermott and Chris Shipp! And if all else fails and the Holiday's get out of hand and the cops are talking to one of your acquaintances, they should be talking with Alex Fuller!!
