Greetings dear Chroniclers,

Do you enjoy venturing out to see the lights for Christmas and holiday displays? It's my favorite winter outing.

In 2024, my husband and I spent time in Japan in early December. Hard to believe that was already a year ago. Japan keeps calling to us and we hope to go back again to visit areas we've not seen yet and reconnect with our friends there.

It was fun to see the lights and fun interpretations—so bright and light hearted. So I'll share a few of them here.

In the holiday spirit, I have a light-hearted short story for your reading pleasure.
